The Viking Boys concluded their season with a 5-1 loss to Round Lake. Arti S tallied the lone Viking goal. Despite the score, the boys never gave up the fight. Dion F made many fine plays on defense for Viking. Henry F and Christian O were impressive in the middle of the field all game.
Vikings girls soccer defeated Round Lake 5-3 in their first game of the conference tournament . The girls fought hard through some adversity and move on to play in a semifinal match vs Antioch today at 4pm at hunt club . Jazmyn A and Eva H were the team scorers.
Attention 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls interested in Cheerleading and Poms: Tryouts start Tuesday, October 10, 2023. You must register on-line at d56.org. Tryouts will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 2:30 – 4:30 in the gyms at Viking. You must have a current physical on file with the nurse in order to tryout. Bring gym shoes, shorts, shirt, water bottle, a mask and any other equipment you might need. Please have your rides at Viking no later than 4:30. See Mr. Streicher, Mrs. Ames or Ms. Griffin if you have any questions.
The Viking School Store will open Wednesday, October 4th during all lunch periods. Please check the Viking School Student Group Google Classroom page next week for the new items available to purchase.

Mrs. Madrzyk would like to invite all puzzles, riddles, and problem solving lovers to join her Math Club on Wednesdays for one hour of enjoyable brain workout. The club will start as son as all spots are filled in. Please see a flyer in your hallway to sign up.
