E-Learning Day (Wednesday, February 12, 2025)
Good Afternoon Viking Families, earlier all of our families were notified that all District 56 buildings will be closed on Wednesday, February 12 and that we will be implementing an e-learning day. Below you will find a copy of our schedule that will be used for our e-learning day.
Viking E-Learning Day Schedule
Viking School Student E-Learning Expectations:
Students will follow their daily schedule as listed (there will be NO ADVISORY)
Students will log into their Google Classroom Page during their assigned class period
Students will find a Google Meet Link for each class and are expected to login in during the correct times. Our Viking Staff will be live in Google Meet to support students throughout the school day and lead activities.
While in the Google Meet, students are expected to participate when appropriately led by the teacher through discussion and chat. Students have reviewed these expectations and are also aware that their microphone should be muted unless they are participating in the class activity
Student attendance will be taken during each class period and with the completion of work that will also be made available on their Google Classroom Page for each class
