The softball team dug deep against Big Hollow during yesterday's game. Abby tossed a great game from the mound, while Natalie and Kaylee gave it their all behind the plate. Delilah and Brooke helped the team in the outfield. Jannah had the catch of the game in left field. Bella and Chelsea took over new spots in the infield. Lilli dominated at first and the plate. Thanks for a wonderful season!
The cross country season came to an end last night for most of our runners as the team competed in the conference meet last night in Antioch. 14 runners represented us in the 2-mile varsity races. Sunny placed 16th, Anna 7th, and Nora 6h in the filed of 63 girls. In the boys' race, Adriel placed 10th. All the other runners completed the 2-mile race. Coach Graham and Coach Szostak are proud of everyone for a wonderful season. This team emulated the best of cross country by their hard work ethic and ability to lift teammates while excelling themselves. We look forward to the Sectional meet this Thursday at Adler Park in Libertyville. Good luck to all our runners moving forward!
