Today's lunch is:  Cheeseburger or Turkey & Cheese Sub, Crinkle fries, Vegetarian beans, Chocolate chip cookies, and Low fat/Fat free Milk

The Viking boys soccer team lost a tough game to Magee yesterday 5-1.  Ellis W. scored the lone goal on a penalty kick.  Henry F. had a strong game and Bryan A. created some nice offense.  Kenneth R came into the game last as a goalie and made several fine saves.  The boys final home game is tonight.  Come out and cheer them on at 4pm at Viking Park.  

Congratulations to the new  NJHS officers for 2023-2024:  President - Sindu N.; Vice President - Nora G.; Secretary - Riley W.; Treasurer - Keeley K.; Public Relations - Elsie H.; and Historian - Farren M.   

Viking Girls soccer continued to show their offensive potential as they defeated Magee 10 to 2. The girls dominated on both sides of the field and got up early thanks to Riley W. who scored 3 goals in the first half. Jazmyn A. added another 3 goals in the second half while Brianna N. and Mikella A. got on the score sheet as well. Congrats to Bella D. who scored her first goal of the season. Great effort by R' Leigha J. and Kayleigh E.

Cross Country competed in their final home meet yesterday at Viking Park.  The rain was gone, the breeze was perfect and the runners were fast.  In the girls race out of 46 runners, Damiya placed 20th, Angelina 19th, Paige 12th, Sunny 8th, Anna 6th Abby 5th and Nora placed 3rd with a time of 12:48 on the 1.8 mile course.  For the boys race we had Chase in 20th place out of 48 runners, Sebastian  in 4th, and Marcus won the race finishing in 11 minutes.  So much fun!!  Thank you all for cheering each other on and being great teammates!
