Are you interested in learning a new hobby? A hobby that allows you to socialize with friends or put your headphones on and relax? Then you should join Crochet club with Ms. Chase. Crochet is a fiber art that uses yarn and a hook to make incredible finished products. This new club meets Mondays in room 1207 after school until 3:30pm starting next week October 2nd. See Mr. Chase for questions or project examples. The sign up form is posted in the Viking Student Group Google classroom.
Cross Country has our last home meet today at Viking Park. Come out and cheer on your peers.
We just wanted to thank all students and staff again for making our Friday PBIS celebration day a huge success . Students enjoyed playing games throughout the morning. It was fun to end the day with an all school assembly. Thank you to our awesome pep band for performing during the assembly . Congratulations to 8th grade for winning our Viking Spirit Trophy. You will see the trophy moving classroom to classroom in the 8th grade. Everyone did a great job and made the whole experience so much fun. We will be awarding more raffle prizes today from the tickets students filled out on Friday.
The Viking Boys Soccer Team recorded a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory last night. Pierre C. scored the golden goal two minutes into overtime with a great shot over Beach Park goalie and with the help of strong offensive pressure by Henry F. and Ellis W. Vyncen B. scored the tying goal late in regulation. Dion F. converted another penalty kick early in the game. Mason P. and Ivan M. were standout defenders.
