Every student needs a scientific calculator to use in class and on homework.  You can use a TI 30XIIS hand held that was on your supply list or the Desmos scientific calculator on the ipad.

8th Grade Math

 Pre-Algebra and Algebra
Each class works at its own pace
You need a notebook or binder with paper for notes

 Every day have your binder or notebook, ipad, earbuds and a PENCIL

Calculator – you will use often
-scientific like mine is best – TI30IIS
-you can use the Desmos scientific one on the ipad for homework and class but you must show your work

  HOMEWORK
- Daily, done on looseleaf and in pencil or in good notes
- 5 points graded on completion
- You will lose points if incomplete
-It will be turned into google classroom 

- When absent:
     watch video provided in google classroom and complete the assignment
     contact me if you need help and need to go over the material together 
It is your responsibility to complete it and ask for help if needed and turn in next day

- If absent, turn late work into google classroom
- Check skyward regularly to check grade and missing work
 
LATE WORK
- You will have until the day of an assessment to turn in late work
- After an assessment has been completed, the work can no longer be turned in for credit
- It is your responsibility to turn in late work for credit

NOTES
- Take daily notes and keep in a binder
- Need to keep all your notes for final
- You may use notes on warm ups

ASSESSMENTS
Tests, quizzes, and warm ups will be given as needed
 
HELP – You need to be proactive and ask for help
-Don’t wait until it is too late
-Set up a time during recess to meet me to go over anything
