Hello and Welcome!
I'm Mrs. Scher, Spaulding School Counselor. I've worked at Spaulding for the past 6 years and work closely with Mrs. B, School Social Worker. In addition, I am the PBIS Tier 2 Coach for our building. I feel very privileged to be in District 56 and support the growth of social-emotional development in all of our students.
Originally from Virginia, I obtained by B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University. I later moved to Illinois and received a M.A. from Concordia University Chicago in Counseling Psychology. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois. I have lived in Wadsworth with my husband, 3 children, dog and 2 cats for the last 17 years. As a family we love camping, playing games, and traveling. In my free time I like to read, cook, and explore Pinterest.
