Hello my name is Frank Fitzgerald and I am the art teacher at Spaulding School. I have been teaching in Gurnee District 56 for over 20 years am thankful to families and students for the honor of teaching your wonderful artists! I hope that you enjoy my website. Mr. Fitzgerald was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1969.  He grew up in Libertyville and went to college at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.  For graduate school he studied with the Chicago artist, Ed Paschke at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.  After receiving his Illinois teacher certification at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago he began to teach art at Spaulding School.  He has been teaching art at Spaulding School for twenty four happy years!

In his free time Mr. Fitzgerald enjoys painting!  He also likes to take walks, swim and listen to records. Artists get inspiration from walking in nature and being outside. Most of all Mr. Fitzgerald enjoys spending time with his family.  Mr. Fitzgerald and his wife Kari have 2 wonderful daughters Ellie (age 16) and Ameia (age 7).
