Hello, my name is Julie Raupp and I've been teaching for 23 years -- all of those years have been in District 56!

I started out at Spaulding School in 2nd grade for 5 years and then moved over to Gurnee Grade School where I taught 2nd/3rd multi age for 8 years. When GGS moved to River Trail multi age moved over to the "looping" model of instruction and I taught 2nd and 3rd in the looping model until 2021. I took a year off due to health reasons and returned as a Learning Recovery teacher in the fall of 2022.

I believe in teaching to the whole child and that each child is an individual with their own set of needs. I hope you will always feel free to contact me with any information about your child that will help us make his or her school year a successful and happy one!
